Texas-based distributors Sentai Filmworks have announced the acquisition of upcoming fantasy light novel to TV anime adaptation, ASSASSINS PRIDE, for international streaming and North American home video release. The series will stream as part of the Fall 2019 anime season, with the home video version to follow at a later date.
The original ASSASSINS PRIDE novels are written by Kei Amagi, illustrated by Nino Ninomoto, and published in Japan by Fujimi Shobo (a division of Kadokawa) under their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint.
ASSASSINS PRIDE is directed by Kazuya Aiura and features animation production by EMT Squared. The series will broadcast in Japan on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, BS NTV, and AT-X beginning on October 10, 2019, and it will also be streamed by Sentai Filmworks on select digital outlets in territories worldwide (except Asia).
