The story of the DOUBLE DECKER! DOUG & KIRILL anime isn’t quite over yet. In addition to the main series, production has been announced for three bonus episodes that will tell an extra story on streaming services and home video.
While there aren’t too many details at the moment, the official website has the three-episode project set up for Blu-ray, DVD, and pay-per-view channels in Japan.
The DOUBLE DECKER! DOUG & KIRILL EXTRA Blu-ray and DVD goes on sale in Japan on May 24, 2019. Features include a special booklet, an audio drama and cast talk CD, audio commentary, a case featuring an illustration by DOUBLE DECKER! and Tiger & Bunny character designer Masakazu Katsura (AKA the mangaka behind Video Girl Ai and I”s), and a jacket illustrated by Tokuhiro Itagaki, who adapted character designs for the anime.
